TRIP TO KINDERDIJK VILLAGE, A BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPE IN NETHERLANDS

Kinderdijk is a small village 15 km south of Rotterdam with a population of 800. Kinderdijk was a small fishing community, specialized in whale hunting, but nowadays it has transformed into one of the main tourist sites of the Netherlands. The village and its windmills are a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1997. Kinderdijk has the biggest collection of traditional windmills from 1740 in the Netherlands. 19 are standing around the village to drain the polder.
